Rockwell doesn’t understand he will end up looking like Bambi on the ice if he goes out for a “walk”. He is languishing on the stairs, wanting to go out.

It appears the freezing rain has reached all parts of Ontario. We've been having the same yucky weather for the past day. Calvin got a skating lesson yesterday on the way home from school. Fortunately, it turned to snow over night, so we had a better footing today.
Poor Rockwell! Sampson hates, hates to walk in the rain but will still whine and sigh even though he refuses to go outside in the rain to go to the bathroom, let alone for a walk! Silly boy. Love seeing your pictures.
Calvin, we just had to wait a day and then it snowed and now it's back to normal out there.
Katherine, Rockwell doesn'r mind the rain at all. I just didn't want him (or me!) to fall on that ice. Nasty stuff.
