Jetta has her defiant moments too and she's been a guide dog for nearly three and a half years. But it's her attitude that makes me love her so much!
Very good interpretation of body language. I'd like to see a book on nothing but "Lab language."
Jess, yes it’s the attitude that we grow to love. Call it “personality” and it’s a win-win!
Hank - “Lab Language” eh? Interesting. They do have their distinct phrases, that’s for sure. Like when they greet you and then after a few seconds, they leave. That’s enough for a Lab!
Rockwell,
In the last picture witch we love of you,You look like your thinking I am going to surprize my mommy,
,Have a nice weekend .
"Surprise!" Yep, he does that all right, Sam I Am. A cold nose on the back of a leg works pretty well too!
Lab language is certainly an art form. They have 100's of facial expressions.
The photo of Rocky "re-thinking it"
looks a lot like Kirby...exept yellow!
MFax, Labs are very expressive. Eyes, ears and mouth are one thing, the tail is another and then there is the set of the entire body. Very versatile in getting what they want. :)
Dog Blog! I see you’ve finally posted a new posting. I worried that something had happened to you since Nov. 20. Glad it hasn’t!
