Yes, he gets so much press and has the tv show but I've heard some disturbing things lately. Like how he's being sued for causing permanent damage to one client's dog by forcing him on a treadmill. I read Cesar's book and was completely unimpressed. The only good piece of advice I got out of it was to not let a dog enter/exit a door before you. I've been making Sampson wait until I go in/out the door to the outside and it's working well.

Actually, I thought Gladwell's article was nicely balanced. He talks about the critics but then he says he spent hours with the D.W. and saw that he really was effective with dogs. Anyway, I do what the Guide Dogs tell me, because -- it's not my dog!
