A little sequence of photos. I wanted to show how he was still fitting on the step but just barely. At 8 months, I think I thought he’d be bigger. I wonder how much bigger he will get? Right now he seems to be the perfect size - small and wiry - but I am not sure how much he weighs.
He seems to have learned to close his eyes as the flash goes off!

He's so cute, Julia. That series looks like time-lapse photography of a narcolepsy moment.
You know, Lomax just recently had a crazy growth spurt, and he's 17 months old. It happened over the holidays. One day he's a puppy, the next day he's a dog, complete with broad head & convoluted neck-folds! Rockwell may just explode on you when you're least expecting it.
Jenny, I thought the series was funny to look at too. I liked the pink tongue on the third one.
I cannot remember when Uma got to her adult size so I am missing that frame of reference. That's interesting that Lomax grew some more even after 12 months. I just hope when Rockwell explodes, I am not in the immediate vicinity!

I agree with Jenny and Lomax. He may grow more,or he may not. After about a year, labs usually put on more weight and muscle but not much more hieght. But every lab is different,of course.
I used to be known as Lanky Hanky at that age. Ah, for that adolescent figure again.
with Bosco he had most of his filling out around 1 year.......I dunno what the expectations of Rockwell were based on parents and litter but I was told Bosco would end up being about 70 lbs. He ended up around 80-85 and is solid as a tank.

Hey Furkids! he was actually licking the carpet in that photo. He licks the floor and the kitchen cabinets too.
Dog Blog Hank and MFax, yes, time will tell. He is only 8 months old after all. Uma was never what you might call "lanky" but Rockwell does have a narrow waist.
Rockwell, you are so cute! You are growing into quite the handsome young man! Trust me, soon the girls will be all over you! You'll get more pee-mail than you can imagine!
Indy, Rockwell is already smelling the pee-mail. I just hope he gets neutered before he starts marking at all those spots.
